Jashn-e-Diwali

Organized by the Rotaract Club of Galgotias Educational Institutions on October 11, 2025, at Metro Station Delta 1, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj (RID 3012), was a heartfelt initiative aimed at spreading the light and joy of Diwali among families in need. The event focused on bringing warmth, dignity, and happiness to the slum community through meaningful celebrations and essential support.

Objectives

• To spread the joy and spirit of Diwali among underprivileged families.
• To provide essential items like food, clothing, and festive materials to those in need.
• To promote empathy, social responsibility, and cultural bonding through community engagement.

Activities

• Distribution Drive: Food packets, sweets, diyas, candles, and clothes were distributed among 60+ beneficiaries, ensuring they could celebrate Diwali with dignity and joy.
• Community Celebration: Volunteers celebrated alongside the residents, creating a warm and inclusive festive environment.
• Volunteer Engagement: A total of 25 volunteers actively participated, contributing their time and efforts to make the initiative impactful.
• Collaborative Effort: The project was successfully conducted in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj (RID 3012), enhancing the scale and outreach of the event.

Conclusion

Jashn-e-Diwali beautifully captured the true essence of the festival—spreading light, love, and happiness. By serving over 60 individuals and fostering a sense of togetherness, the initiative created a meaningful impact within the community. The event not only addressed immediate needs but also strengthened the values of compassion, unity, and selfless service among all participants.
